Clutch Coaching senior group sessions begin again in February. To give our cricketers an advantage, we provide the opportunity for 5 training sessions designed to supplement their school or club training programme.

Focus for the term: Executing skills in match scenarios

 

These 5 training sessions are made up of 3x fortnightly technical skill sessions (batting and bowling) at indoor net facilities, and 2x additional specialised sessions.

 

Cricketers will be organised into groups of 4-10 cricketers for each of the indoor technical sessions. If more than 6 cricketers are assigned to a group, a second coach will be added for the session.​

Suitability

These programmes are designed for hard ball cricketers year 9 -year 10 (14 - 16 years of age) looking to take their cricket seriously this season. ​

Technical sessions

(Attend all 3 of these on a fortnightly basis - 1.5 hours each)​

Week 1: Developing a mental edge at the crease
Week 2: Attacking bowling vs defensive bowling
Week 3: Being a busy batsman at the crease​​

Technical session options - take place fortnightly

(3x technical skill sessions over a 6 week period)

Begins 2nd week of February

Tuesdays: 4.00pm - 5.30pm

Location: Waikato University Indoor Nets

Wednesdays: 6.00pm - 7.30pm

Location: Seddon Park Indoor Nets

Fridays: 7.00pm - 8.30pm

Location: Waikato University Indoor Nets

Specialised sessions (Locations vary)

(Attend 1 fielding and 1 batting - 1 hour each)

Fielding sessions - Intelligent and effective fielding

Session 1: 25th of Feb: 5.30 - 6.30pm

Session 2: 15th of March: 3.00 - 4.00pm

Open wicket session -Intelligent batsmanship

Session 1: 26th of Feb: 4.00 - 5.00pm

Session 2: 15th of March: 4.00 - 5.00pm

Pricing options (GST inclusive)

- $240.00 (Covers all 5 sessions)

5 sessions are made up of 3x indoor technical sessions and 2x outdoor specialist sessions. You select which timeslots suit through the registration form.
