Upcoming Programmes

Cricket - Term 2

Term layout

Term 2's 6 week course will be broken into 3 weeks of batting focused sessions, followed by 3 weeks of bowler focused sessions. Parents have the option to sign their child up for one 3 week programme, or the full 6 weeks (both programmes).

Batting Masterclass - Building an innings

Changes to a batter's technique during the season can result in an adjustment period where performance temporarily declines. The off-season provides a great opportunity to make any technical adjustments without the risk of negative impacts on performance.

  • 3 week programme beginning the week of May 20th

  • Technical skills and drills focused - not just a net session

  • Fun competitions within the drills to keep the sessions enjoyable

  • Run by head coach Greg Holt

  • Appearances from special guest coaches

  • Suitable for boys and girls 8-16 years of age

  • Week 1: Stage 1 - Defensive and risk free shot selection

  • Week 2: Stage 2 - Building an innings and strike rotation

  • Week 3: Stage 3 - Hitting powerful cricket shots

Bowling Masterclass - Bowling fast

This term's bowling masterclass breaks down the mechanisms underlying fast bowling to unleash the full potential of our young quick bowlers. In these sessions we also discuss ways that fast bowlers can look after their bodies to prevent injuries.

  • 3 week programme beginning the week of June 10th

  • Technical skills and drills focused - not just a net session

  • Fun competitions within the drills to keep the sessions enjoyable

  • Run by head coach Greg Holt

  • Appearances from special guest coaches

  • Suitable for boys and girls 8-14 years of age

  • Week 1: Stage 1 - Upper body and Swinging the ball

  • Week 2: Stage 2 - Lower body and bowling balanced

  • Week 3: Stage 3 - Run up, accuracy and consistency

Bowling Masterclass - Spin bowling

If your child is a spin bowler and doesn't want to miss out, please use the sign up form to register for the pace bowling masterclass, and then use the final question to indicate that you are interested in spin bowling. If a sufficient number of spin bowlers register, we will create a spin bowling course.
